most, when you think of a diary you must think security. My Sermon Diary or MSD comes ready to accommodate up to five users (additional users can be purchased one at a time or in group sets). Each user will be able to setup their own username and password keeping their information under lock and key. No one user can see any other’s information at any time. In the event you should forget your security information, recovery is a snap!
Personal Catalog:
MSD allows you to enter your sermon notes into the system cataloging each entry. With each entry you will assign your sermon a specific category (MSD comes with the following preloaded categories: General, Men’s Day, Women’s Day, Father’s Day, M
other’s Day, Youth Day, Easter, Faith, Deliverance, and Understanding. These categories can be added to or modified. You may enter just the title and edit as you see fit or the sermon in its entirety.
Searchability:
MSD has a powerful search engine which allows you to quickly search for your sermons in the following ways: By Category (This is by the related category you assigned when saving your sermon), By Book (This searches for sermons that have base scripture(s) from the book of the Bible you specify), By Book & Chapter (This searches for sermons that have base scripture(s) that contain the Bible book and chapter you specify), By Specific Scripture (This searches for sermons that have base scriptures that match the specific scripture you specify), By Sermon Number (This option finds a specific sermon number), By Date Given (This option searches for sermons that meet the date you were inspired to create the sermon), and All (List all sermons in the system) Each search list all sermons which meet the desired criteria, additionally the search engine allows you to differentiate whether you want to see sermons not preached, preached, those belonging to your favorites, or all .
Sermon Tracking:
Each time you mark
a sermon as preached, MSD creates a history logging the date and location the sermon was preached so you don’t have to worry about preaching the same sermon at any one place twice.
Sermon Output:
You can print your sermon at any time ; additionally, you can email your sermon notes to others (useful if you have ministers in training that you want to review their ability to construct a sermon or want to give a heads up about your sermon for a speaking engagement you’ve been offered) or email your sermon to yourself to preach from your electronic device.
